Knicks stops Mavericks 13-game winning run on spectacular...

It took one of the worse teams in the current season of the National Basketball Association (NBA) to stop the 13-game winning run of the red-hot Dallas Mavericks who had no lose a single game since February 16.
The New York Knicks, one of the lowly NBA teams beat the Mavericks 128-94 remarkably on the home-floor of the latter Saturday night.
Rising NBA stars Bill Walker and Wilson Chandler who scored 23 and 22 points each lead the Knicks to victory against the Mavericks who got 20 points and 12 rebounds from its superstar Dirk Nowitzki.
Both Walker and Chandler were very happy with their upset victory against one of the top teams in the current season of the NBA.
Walker and Chandler said they were motivated to play harder since the Mavericks had earlier embarrassed them right on their home-floor two months ago by defeating them by 50 points.
The two revealed when they got the chance to play again the Mavericks in-front of the fans of the fans of the latter they really made a commitment to play harder to win big against their opponent.
The New York Knicks players said the win should also server as wake up call to other NBA teams that they could not take the team lightly since they are ready to compete with them toe to toe despite their lowly NBA ranking.
Mavericks veteran power forward Shawn Marion who scored 14 points for his team lauded the great effort shown by the Knicks despite the fact they have a bad NBA record.
